VIVlKHVV LOONA (stylized as LOOΠΔ; Korean: 이달의 소녀; RR: Idalui Sonyeo; Japanese: 今月の少女, romanized: Kongetsu no Shōjo, lit. 'Girl of the Month') is a South Korean girl group that consists of 12 members:Heejin | Hyunjin | Haseul | Yeojin

Yves | Chuu | Go Won | Hyeju (Olivia Hye)Originally debuted under Blockberry Creative (BBC), every member of the group was revealed one by one from October 2016 until June 2018, with a single album and music video for the title track. Three sub-units are revealed in between the release of four members, with Yeojin not being a member of any of those sub-units on its original release.ㅤ 1/3 | ODD EYE CIRCLE | yyxyIndividually and in sub-units, all members have shown their well-rounded abilities and versatility, as shown in them being able to do various concepts and being a part of the intricate lore known as the LOONAVERSE.The complete group debuted on August 19, 2018, at their concert LOONAbirth, with the release of the mini-album [++] along with its lead single ('favOriTe') and title track ('Hi High'). Prior to this, on July 10, Orbit, LOONA’s fandom name was officially announced.Their Japanese debut (Hula Hoop / StarSeed 〜カクセイ〜) was released on September 15, 2021.On February 21, 2022, Mnet announced LOONA's participation in the survival reality show 'QUEENDOM 2'. Ten weeks later, on June 2, they were announced as the runner-up.The following month, LOONA released their first summer special comeback, 'Flip That', and announced their first US and Europe tour, where member Chuu started to become more absent in group schedules due to her individual activities. Earlier in January 2022, she won the right to take profit from her individual activities, agreed to a more favorable annex contract, and negotiated the ability to sit out of certain group activities and terminate the contract at any time.BBC later removed Chuu on November 25, citing “violent language” and “misuse of power toward staffs,” to which multiple K-pop stars, industry insiders, and staff expressed their support for Chuu in reaction to the news. Orbits around the world have boycotted the company since then. Eventually, the rest of LOONA sued the company for contract termination due to mistreatment, and won by June 16, 2023.Today, all members of LOONA are still active in the idol industry.
